Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Stevie Wyatt and I am a swiss army musician. I do a little bit of everything!
Where do you find the most inspiration?
I find the most inspiration from 60’s and 70’s folk artists and buskers I encounter when I travel.
Who/what are your biggest influences?
My biggest influences are Joni Mitchell, Kris Kristofferson and Janis Joplin.
What is your go-to album/artist right now?
Probably Stick Season (Forever) by Noah Kahan
Do you have a favorite artist or piece of art?
Oh man, that’s hard. I think my favorite artist of all time would have to be Bob Dylan. Man is an incredibly talented writer and artist.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given, not necessarily related to art?
Leave it in the past if it no longer brings you peace of mind.
If you had to describe your artistic style in three words, what would they be?
Crusty, Folk, Acoustic
Who would you like to collaborate with?
If we are talking large collab probably Brandi Carlisle. Locally I would love to collab with Joseph Neville one day.
What is a useless talent you possess?
I can make a perfect chipmunk noise.
What is your comfort food?
Pork chops with mashed potatoes :)
What is next for you?
I’m taking time to appreciate the small things and working on buying a farm! .
